THE STORY:

"An inexperienced British officer, in Colonial India, must rally Hindu peasant rebels to battle a ghostly cult, rescue his fiancé, and stop an ancient evil from being unleashed."

IN ISSUE 1:

India, 500 AD: VETALAS priests, vampire-like spirits, attempt a human sacrifice to summon MARA, a six-armed, ancient Hindu she-demon. Unsuccessful, their cave temple collapses, trapping them until…

1891 AD: Fed up with Colonial rule, Peasant Rebels are making trouble for the British. A young Lieutenant, Jonathan Harrows, arrives to his post to make maps of the area so Captain Jones, his commanding officer, can have a tactical advantage over the rebels and squash the rebellion once and for all.

Jonathan meets his men. Sergeant Major Wallace, an Ale toting, bruiser of a bloke and Paddy, a lighthearted Punjabi guide. They round off this hardened, Dirty-Dozen-like platoon.

Across the seas in England and pining for her love, Jonathan's fiancé Barbara, against her fathers wishes, contemplates to be with her love, unaware of the evil that waits for her if she goes.

UP-COMING IN ISSUE 2:

Barbara arrives in India and is escorted to Jonathan's camp by her new friend, Jane Parker, an American Journalist and Adventurer.

As Jonathan surveys the mountains, the Rebels take a stand and an ancient evil stirs for him and Barbara.
